Online stores and storefronts

We build online stores and product storefronts with catalogs, variant selection and a clear path to purchase or inquiry. A storefront can direct buyers to an external marketplace, as Get Beauty does with Wildberries. For on-site checkout, we separately design the cart, server-side total calculation, payment and status handling.

Who it is for and the tasks we solve

For brands, retailers and suppliers that need to present a range and define one ordering route: a manager inquiry, marketplace link or on-site purchase. The approach depends on product data, stock management, payment rules and delivery.

Inquiry-based storefront

We publish categories, attributes and product variants and pass requests to a manager for selection or an estimate. Online payment is optional for this format.

Storefront with external purchasing

We connect brand presentation with a sales-platform link. Get Beauty’s visible purchase button leads to Wildberries—an external journey, not embedded acquiring.

Store with on-site orders

We design variants, quantity, cart, buyer contacts and an agreed payment provider. The server verifies the final total and whether the order is available.

Inventory-system exchange

We agree the price and stock source, product mapping, exchange frequency and failure handling. Complex 1C and other system integrations need separate estimates.

What we do and what you receive

  • Category structure, attributes and product-variant selection rules
  • Responsive catalog and product pages with agreed photographs and data
  • Inquiry or checkout journey in the selected format; cart and payment provider for the agreed store
  • Server-side price, quantity and order-content checks for on-site checkout
  • Buyer-journey and agreed-status testing, with catalog and order-management instructions

How we work

  1. 01

    Product range and sales format

We define categories, variants and mandatory attributes, and choose where the purchase finishes: with a manager, on an external platform or on the website.

  2. 02

    Catalog and interface

We design search, product pages, variant selection and the mobile ordering journey. We check the prepared product file and photographs.

  3. 03

    Orders and integrations

We implement the agreed data exchange and payments. For on-site orders, we define statuses, notifications and the authoritative total source.

  4. 04

    Acceptance and launch

We test variants, quantities, totals, checkout errors and agreed payment states. We hand over catalog management and order-processing instructions.

Included in the starting scope

A small store using existing components: a catalog with one product structure, product page, cart, checkout and one payment-provider integration. Products are loaded from a prepared file in an agreed format.

Estimated separately

Payment-provider licenses and fees, complex 1C exchange, loyalty programs, marketplaces, product-content preparation, hosting and maintenance.

The estimate includes project management, specialist work, testing and handover within the agreed scope.

The starting price applies to the scope described. The final price depends on your task: after our discussion, we agree on the scope, estimate and schedule. The timeline depends on materials, access and stage approvals.

Scope depends on product and variant structure, filters, import-file quality, ordering rules and external inventory management. Before development, we define price and stock sources, payment states and acceptance criteria. Product photography, complex exchange, service fees and maintenance are estimated separately.

What to prepare for an estimate

  • Purchase format: manager, marketplace or on-site checkout and payment
  • A prepared sample of products, categories, variants, prices, stock and photos
  • Delivery, payment and order-processing rules; selected payment provider and inventory system
  • Initial upload volume, required filters and employees who will update the catalog

Before the project begins

Questions before we start

How does a storefront differ from an online store?

A storefront shows products and directs visitors to a manager or an external purchase. A store creates its own order: retaining its contents, calculating the total, collecting buyer information and handling payment. These formats require different development and management scopes.

How much does a store cost, and how long does development take?

Guidelines are from ₽450,000 and 12–20 weeks for a small store built from existing components: one product structure, a product page, cart, checkout and one payment provider. Products are loaded from a prepared file in an agreed format. Complex inventory exchange, product content, fees and maintenance are excluded.

Which example of your store or storefront can we explore?

Get Beauty shows a brand catalog, shop, search and direct purchase links to Wildberries. DDRW is credited in the website footer. This case demonstrates product-storefront work; it does not prove embedded payment processing or increased sales.

How is ordering tested before launch?

We agree a testable journey: find a product, choose a variant, change quantity, place an order and receive the result. For on-site payment, we check server totals, successful and unsuccessful completion, repeated notifications, and agreement between the saved order and payment status. Real payments and refunds need a separately agreed scenario.

Which product data should we prepare?

Categories, names, SKUs, prices, variants and photographs, plus stock and delivery rules. We check a sample file before bulk loading. We agree who owns data accuracy and image rights beforehand.

Can the store connect to 1C or a marketplace?

After reviewing the available API and source data, we define the exchange: products, prices, stock or orders. A storefront alone does not include such an integration. Retries, errors and exchange conflicts are described separately.

What is needed to connect payments?

A selected payment provider, agreed order rules and configuration information. Credentials are transferred separately from public inquiries. Provider fees, the contract and receipt arrangements cannot be replaced by interface development and are agreed with the store owner.
